These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Simmer app and related services (the "Service") provided by Simmer. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: violating any law or the rights of others; attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; uploading malicious code; or importing or sharing content you do not have the right to use.
You retain ownership of the recipes and other content you create or import. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (and to members of a household you join, for content shared within that household).
The Service can import recipe information from third-party URLs you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and use that content. Recipes, trademarks, and other materials sourced from third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
Nutritional values, macros, and unit conversions are estimates provided for convenience and are not medical or dietary advice. Always verify information that matters to your health, allergies, or dietary needs.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We do our best to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simmer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
