Every recipe you love, in one place — and ready to cook.
Save recipes from websites, social posts, screenshots and cookbooks — and Simmer turns them into recipes you can actually use. Scale the servings, plan your weekly menu and build one organized shopping list automatically.
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play
Simmer is in testing. This page will link to both stores the day it launches.
How it works
-
Save it
Share a recipe to Simmer straight from your favorite apps, paste a link, or photograph a page from a cookbook. Simmer turns it into a clean, organized recipe that’s ready when you are.
-
Make it yours
Edit anything, file it into cookbooks, and set the servings you're cooking for. The ingredient amounts scale with it.
-
Cook and shop
Put recipes on your weekly menu and send them to a shopping list that adds up the same ingredient across recipes and sorts it by aisle.
What Simmer does
Save recipes from websites, social platforms, photos and more.
Recipe sites, blogs, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or photographs of a cookbook page. Simmer pulls out the ingredients and the method and keeps a link back to the source.
Cook for two tonight, six on Sunday
Change the servings and every ingredient amount is recalculated. Switch between metric and US measurements without rewriting the recipe.
One list for the whole week
Add recipes to the shopping list and Simmer adds up what repeats, converts the weights and volumes into your measurements, and groups everything by aisle. Share a household and both phones see the same list as it's ticked off.
Plan the week
Put recipes on the days you'll cook them, breakfast to dinner, and see the week at a glance. Turn your weekly menu into one organized shopping list.
-
Cookbooks
Group recipes the way you think about them — weeknights, baking, the ones the kids will actually eat.
-
Find it by what's in the fridge
Search your library by ingredient and see the recipes you can cook with what you already have.
-
Nutrition per serving
Calories and macros are calculated from the ingredients, and they follow the servings you set.
-
Share a household
Invite the person you cook with. Recipes, the weekly menu and the shopping list are shared, and changes show up on both phones.
Cook in your language — use Simmer in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Brazilian Portuguese.
